The Community Conversation Thursday, Dec.6, will feature representatives from more than 20 local non-profit organizations with ideas of how area residents can support them with time and/or money. They will provide information about how and when to donate, as well as how funds or volunteer time are used.
Groups that have agreed to be there include the Action Resource Center, Habitat for Humanity, Greene County 4-H, Greene County Fair, VFW, Salvation Army, Greene County Schools, congregate meals, Adopt-a-Family, Toys for Tots, Genesis Development, the Jefferson fire and police departments, the Good Samaritan fund, RSVP 55+, and more.
Any Greene County non-profit group is welcome to participate.
The Community Conversation will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church. Snacks will be served at 5 pm and the conversation will start at 5:30.
