Friday, Nov. 30: Routine activity reported.
Thursday, Nov. 29: At 6:57 am a deputy removed a deer from the roadway on 330th St near Highway 4 in Franklin Township. At 1:03 pm the sheriff, deputies, Scranton fire department and Greene County EMS responded to a structure fire in the 800 block of Lincoln St in Scranton. The residence was severely damaged. At 6:50 pm a deputy removed a deer from the roadway in the 1100 block of Highway 30 west of Jefferson. At 9 pm a deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 500 block of 11th St in Grand Junction.
Wednesday, Nov. 28: At 10:03 am the sheriff and deputies assisted with a lockdown at Greene County High School. At 5:01 pm a deputy investigated a car-deer accident on 237th St near Pioneer Ave in Grant Township. Kasandra Hedges, 29, of Scranton struck a deer with a 2005 GMC Envoy. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1,500. At 5:14 pm a deputy investigated an animal neglect complaint in the 800 block of Percival St Grand Junction. At 7:09 pm a deputy investigated a violation of a no contact order in the 200 block of S. 7th St in Grand Junction.
Tuesday, Nov. 27: At 3:30 pm a deputy investigated a domestic assault in the 200 block of S. 7th St in Grand Junction. Eiddie Mun, 33, of Grand Junction was arrested for domestic abuse assault- third or subsequent offense*. Candice Ortiz, 31, of Grand Junction was arrested for domestic abuse assault- first offense and possession of methamphetamine*.

Sunday, Nov. 25: At 11:21 am a deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 1900 block of County Road E-18 (130th St) in Dawson Township. At 12:24 pm a deputy investigated a theft in the 2400 block of 337th St in Washington Township. At 6:57 pm a deputy investigated a car-deer accident on I Ave near 222nd St in Scranton Township. Anthony Bainter, 30, of Jefferson struck a deer with his 2005 Chevy Silverado. Damage to the pickup truck was estimated at $500.
Saturday, Nov. 24: At 2:12 pm a deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 2400 block of 337th St in Washington Township. At 3:58 pm a deputy investigated a theft in the 2000 block of 295th St in Washington Township. At 5:34 pm a deputy investigated a poaching complaint on 230th Street near Q Ave in Grant Township.

Thursday, Nov. 22: At 6:53 am a deputy assisted the Jefferson police department with an arrest at Olive and Washington Sts. At 10:48 am a deputy assisted the Jefferson PD with a traffic stop at Fareway with stolen property. At 1:36 pm a deputy investigated an alarm in the 400 block of E. Paton St in Paton. At 3:19 pm a deputy conducted a traffic stop near 215th St and Highway 145 in Junction Township. Thomas Davidson, 59, of Rippey was arrested for operating while intoxicated* and cited for going 90 mph in a 55 zone. At 5:18 pm a deputy investigated a vicious dog complaint in Scranton. At 6:37 pm a deputy investigated a theft in the 1800 block of 205th St in Junction Township. At 8:19 pm a deputy investigated a utility pole that was hit by a tractor at 160th St and P Ave in in Dawson Township.
Wednesday, Nov. 21: At 3:42 am a deputy conducted a traffic stop at 16th and N. Sandoe St in Grand Junction. Christopher Sowers, 46, of Grand Junction was arrested for driving while barred and possession of a controlled substance*.At 9:44 am a deputy investigated a complaint of cattle causing damage to a corn field in the 1800 block of 277th St in Grant Township. At 10:06 am a deputy and the Rippey fire department were called to a possible garage fire in the 300 block of Cartwright St in Rippey. There was no fire; it was a wood stove. At 3:02 pm a deputy investigated a burglary in the 500 block of Madison St in Scranton. At 4:50 pm a deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 1500 block of T Ave in Junction Township.
Tuesday, Nov. 20: At 7:13 am a deputy investigated a car-deer accident on County Road N-58 (A Ave) and 185th St in Kendrick Township. Nathan Byerly, 27, of Churdan struck a deer with a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado causing an estimated $2,500 in damage to the truck. At 8:45 am a deputy investigated a theft in the 800 block of E. Main St in Grand Junction. At 9:07 am a deputy investigated criminal mischief in the 400 block of Sand St in Churdan.
Monday, Nov.19: At 3:53 pm a deputy investigated a domestic assault in Grand Junction.
Sunday, Nov. 18: At 8:32 pm a deputy investigated a complaint of illegal drugs in a residence in the 500 block of Bell St in Churdan. Mark Frohwein, 21, of Churdan was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana- first offense (serious misdemeanor)*. At 10:44 pm a deputy investigated a burglary in the 2000 block of Mulberry St in Grant Township.
Saturday, Nov.17: At 3:17 pm a deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 900 block of Main St in Grand Junction. At 4:21 pm a deputy investigated a burglary in the 2400 block of 337th St in Washington Township.
Friday, Nov. 16: At 3:48 pm a deputy assisted with cattle on the roadway on County Road P-30 (R Ave) and 295th St in Washington Township. At 5:32 pm a deputy investigated a car-deer accident in the 800 block of County Road E-53 (240th St) in Jackson Township. Chad Kirk, 41, of Scranton struck a deer with a 2006 Pontiac G6 causing an estimated $1,500 damage to the vehicle. At 9:30 pm a deputy investigated a domestic assault in Churdan.
Thursday, Nov. 15: At 12:19 am a deputy investigated a complaint of a loud tractor in the 1300 block of 100th St in Dawson Township. At 1:32 am a deputy investigated a possible burglary in the 900 block of County Road E-13 (110th St) in Highland Township. At 8:51 pm a deputy investigated a car-deer accident on Highway 4 near 190th St north of Jefferson. Laura Smith, 39, of Jefferson struck a deer with her 2016 Ford Flex. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,000.
Wednesday, Nov. 14: At 5:58 am a deputy assisted the Jefferson PD with trying to locate a missing juvenile. At 2:37 pm a deputy investigated a reported theft in the 900 block of E. Main St in Grand Junction. At 10:01 pm a deputy investigated a reported fire in the 1200 block of Highway 30. The fire was a reported controlled burn.
Tuesday, Nov.13: At 8 am a deputy investigated a two-car accident on Highway 30 near Granite Ave east of Scranton. Patty Alley, 52, of Carroll was eastbound driving a 2010 Mazda CX7 and rear ended Josselyn Skhordal, 24, of Gilbert. Skhordal was driving a 2018 Toyota Highlander. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at $500. No citations were issued. At 11:57 am the sheriff and deputies assisted the Carroll police department and the Carroll County sheriff’s office with a high-speed chase that ended on C Ave and Highway 30. At 5:07 pm a deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 400 block of E. Hager St in Grand Junction. At 5:57 pm a deputy assisted a United States probation office with a search of a residence in the 600 block of 150th St in Cedar Township. John Minnehan, 63, of Churdan was arrested for possession of a firearm as a felon*.
Monday, Nov. 12: At 4:58 pm the sheriff and a deputy assisted the Jefferson PD with a single vehicle accident on 225th St just east of Jefferson.
Sunday, Nov. 11: At 6:09 pm a deputy investigated a car-deer accident on County Road N-65 (D Ave) near 150th St in Cedar Township. A prisoner transport struck a deer causing an estimated $3,000 in damage to the 2016 Ford Transit van. At 11:17 pm a deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 200 block of E. Main St in Grand Junction.
Saturday, Nov. 10: At 10:20 am a deputy investigated a theft in the 100 block of W. State St in Jefferson. At 6 pm a deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on 177th St at Apple Ave in Kendrick Township. Lyle Stork, 54, of Glidden lost control of his 2011 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and struck two utility poles, breaking them off. Stork was arrested for operating while intoxicated- second offense and driving while license revoked*. Damage to his vehicle was estimated at $15,000. Damage to the utility poles was estimated at $1,000 each.

Thursday, Nov. 8: At 2:52 am a deputy investigated an alarm in the 1000 block of Sandoe St in Grand Junction. At 5:52 am a deputy investigated a car-deer accident on Jordan Ave near 330th St in Greenbrier Township. Annette Hadley, 53, of Jefferson struck a deer with her 2017 Dodge Durango, causing an estimated $8,000 in damage to the vehicle.
Wednesday, Nov. 7: At 2:16 am a deputy assisted the Jefferson PD with an intoxicated person at Wild Rose Casino. At 11:47 am a deputy investigated a gas drive off in the 900 block of Locust St in Scranton. At 8:17 pm a deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 1900 block of County Road E-53 (230th St) in Junction Township.
Tuesday, Nov. 6: At 2:56 pm a deputy investigated a complaint of an injured cat in the 500 block of E. Rebecca St in Grand Junction. At 9:31 pm a deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 1000 block of Irving St in Scranton. At 11:16 pm a deputy investigated a theft in the 100 block of State St in Scranton. At 11:24 pm a deputy assisted the Jefferson PD with an investigation at Wild Rose Casino.
Monday, Nov. 5: At 8:23 am a deputy investigated a two-vehicle accident in the 900 block of Locust St in Scranton. Rodney Blackmon, 23, of Grand Junction was driving a 2008 Ford Edge and turned into a pickup truck driven by Douglas Lange, 44, of Wall Lake. Blackmon was cited for driving while suspended, unsafe passing, and failure to provide security against liability- accident related. Damage to his vehicle was estimated and $3,000. Damage to Lange’s vehicle was estimated at $1,500. At 11:32 am a deputy investigated a complaint of trucks not stopping at the stop sign on Anyer St in Dana. At 12:29 pm a deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 900 block of Main St in Grand Junction. At 4:34 pm a deputy investigated a cat bite in the 200 block of Stream St in Farlin. At 5:11 pm a deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 1500 block of T Ave in Grant Township.
Sunday, Nov. 4: At 1:50 pm a deputy investigated a car-deer accident on County Road N-65 (D Ave) near County Road E-18 (130th St) in Cedar Township. Linda Fagen, 59, of Rockwell City struck a deer with her 2005 Jeep Liberty, causing an estimated $7,000 in damage to the vehicle. At 3:59 pm a deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 800 block of E. Main St in Grand Junction. At 5:41 pm a deputy investigated a car-deer accident on Highway 4 near 210th St north of Jefferson. Alexander Hernandez, 44, of Jefferson struck a deer with a 2008 Toyota Scion, causing an estimated $8,000 damage to the vehicle. At 6:08 pm a deputy investigated a car-deer accident on Highway 30 that was found to be in Boone County. At 6:33 pm a deputy investigated a domestic assault in the 600 block of State St in Scranton.
Saturday, Nov.3: At 7:02 am a deputy investigated a car-deer accident on Highway 4 near 185th St in Hardin Township. Dambra Knowles, 56, of Churdan struck a deer, causing an estimated $7,000 in damage to her 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier.
Friday, Nov. 2: At 10:08 am a deputy investigated a theft in the 400 block of E. Paton St in Paton. At 11 am a deputy investigated a car vs tractor accident on County Road P-46 (W Ave) near 250th St in Junction Township. Jeanette Stoffa, 39, of Grand Junction was northbound on P-46 when Troy Jordan, 50, of Scranton, who was driving a tractor, turned in front of her. Stoffa struck a tire on the tractor, causing damage to her 2016 Chevrolet Cruze that exceeded value. The tractor was undamaged. Stoffa was later transported to Greene County Medical Center by personal vehicle. At 3:48 pm a deputy investigated criminal mischief in the 100 block of Sunset St in Grand Junction.
Thursday, Nov. 1: At 7:20 am a deputy and the Scranton fire department were called to a grass fire and a powerline down in the ditch at Highway 25 and 330th St in Willow Township. The fire was put out and the power line was fixed. At 3:48 pm a deputy investigated a theft in the 700 block of E. Main St in Grand Junction. At 8 pm a deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 500 block of 12th St in Grand Junction.
