The process of establishing an urban renewal district to implement tax increment financing against the first 41 Beaver Creek wind turbines continues.
The Greene County planning and zoning board will meet Thursday, Oct. 18, at 6 pm in the east lobby at the courthouse. New business on the agenda is to consider the Greene County Beaver Creek wind farm urban renewal plan to determine it is in conformance with the general plan for development of the county as a whole.
Public comment will held following the board’s discussion.
The county board of supervisors will hold a public hearing on the plan Monday, Oct. 29, at 9 am.
