The Churdan public library will host a meet-and-greet with the candidates running for Greene County offices of treasure and recorder Greene County attorney and Greene County supervisors Monday, Oct. 22, at 7 pm.
The event will be held in the Churdan Community Room. The evening will begin with each candidate making a brief presentation about why he or she would like to serve Greene County. This will be followed by a time for questions from those in attendance. There will also be time to meet with the candidates individually.
Candidates scheduled to appear are Katlynn Gannon-Mechaelsen and Donna Lawson, running for treasurer; Marcia Tasler running unopposed for recorder; Thomas Laehn running unopposed for county attorney; and supervisor candidates Dawn Rudolph, Tom Contner, Melissa Frederick and Patti Naylor.
