Older residents are invited to a Greene County Senior Fun Day Wednesday, Oct. 10, from 8:30 am to noon at the Greene County Community Center in Jefferson.
A veterans pinning will be done at 8:30. The morning will include speakers, bingo and games, hand massages, blood pressure checks, virtual dementia demonstrations, geriatric yoga and more.
Secure Shred Solutions will offer free document shredding and the Greene County sheriff’s office will collect unused or outdated medication for disposal. Attendees are invited to bring non-perishable or personal hygiene items to be donated to the Greene County Action Resource Center food pantry.
Refreshments will be served and door prizes will be awarded.
