Letter to the editor,
Over the past few months, the voters in Greene County have had the opportunity to observe and evaluate the perspectives of the candidates running for supervisor in District 3. Melissa Frederick’s honest and hopeful insight to the needs of Greene County and her willingness to examine the issues and listen closely, set her apart from her opponent.
Melissa has been canvassing Greene County and visiting with residents about issues that are important to them. Melissa will take a fresh look at the needs of the county and help find solutions to the residents’ concerns. Having known Melissa for much of her life, she has always worked hard to increase her knowledge and has applied what she has learned to a variety of situations.
Melissa (Bosshart) Frederick graduated from Jefferson-Scranton High School in 2009. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biology with a chemistry minor at the University of Iowa. She worked for Continental Manufacturing Chemists in Madrid doing quality control and has worked almost four years in the lab at Louis Dreyfus LLC in Grand Junction.
Melissa has said that as a nearly lifelong resident of Greene County she knows where the county has been, where it is now, “and being part of a farming family now and starting my family here I have great interest in seeing where Greene County goes in the future.”
We are writing today to express our support for Melissa’s campaign and make known that she has our vote in the upcoming election. We also wanted to make residents aware of Melissa’s abilities and drive that helps her accomplish what she sets out to do. Please join us in electing Melissa Frederick for Greene County District 3 Supervisor on Tuesday, November 6th. Thank you.
Sue and Nick Richardson, Jefferson
