The Iowa State Fair on Sept. 11 releases more results from sheep shows held during the fair.
Hoskins Stock Farm of Jefferson earned reserve grand champion ewe honors in the Suffolk sheep show. Hoskins Stock Farm placed second and fifth in yearling ram; first and fifth in February ram lamb; fourth and fifth in March and after Ram lamb; first in pair of ram lambs; eighth and 10th in yearling ewe; first in another class of yearling ewe; 12th and 15th in shorn yearling ewe; fourth inn pair of yearling ewes; sixth in one class of February ewe lambs and fifth and 11th in another class of February ewe lambs; third and fifth in March and after ewe lambs; fourth in pair of ewe lambs; second in pair of lambs; second in young flock; and third in flock.
Hoskins Stock Farm showed the reserve grand champion ram in the junior show; the senior reserve champion ewe; and the reserve champion in the ewe junior show.
Wolf Club Lambs of Scranton showed in the Wether sire/dam show and placed first in a white face/speckled face ram lamb class, first in a white face/speckled face ewe lamb class, seventh in a black face ram lamb class, ninth in a black face ewe lamb class
Shahan Club Lambs of Jefferson also showed in the Wether sire/dam show and placed fourth and eighth in a black face ewe lamb class,.
In the Jackpot lamb show, Emmalin Wright of Scranton placed third in the crossbred speckled face class with Will, born 1/10/2018; 12th in the crossbred black face class with Daisy, born 2/18/2018; and 13th in the purebred Southdown with Stormy Daniels, born 2/05/2018.
