An electrical fire early this morning caused extensive damage at Power Lift in Jefferson.
The Jefferson and Grand Junction fire departments, the Greene County sheriff’s office, the Jefferson police department and Greene County EMS responded at 4:30 am.
The fire stared in the center of the building, which was empty at the time. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Employees were sent home when they arrived for work this morning.
