In Greene County district court Gary Lee Bundy Jr, 45, of Jamaica was fined $315 with a $110.25 surcharge after he pleaded guilty Aug. 14 to a charge of theft- fourth degree, amended from theft- third degree. He must also pay a $125 Law Enforcement Initiative surcharge, $350.25 restitution for his court appointed attorney’s fees, $425 victim restitution, and $322.30 court costs. Cory Michael Grow, 41, of Jefferson was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge after he pleaded guilty to a charge of harassment- third degree. Charges of child endangerment (two counts) were dismissed. Court costs were $136.31. (Sentencing: McCarville)
Persons pleaded not guilty at arraignment as follows: Kirsten Elizabeth Nielson, 24, of Jefferson, possession of marijuana; Jody Lyn Schad, 43, of Jefferson, driving while license barred; Rob Jonathan Herridge, 24, of Jefferson, driving while license barred; and Malissa Lou Brooks, 40, of Ames, possession of marijuana- third or subsequent offense. Trial dates were set for Oct. 30 in every case.
A case was initiated Aug. 13 against Jeremy Lee Benedict, 28, of Perry on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.
