Deluhery wins Jefferson Telecom photo contest
Elaine Deluhery of Jefferson is the winner of the Jefferson Telecom directory photo contest. She produced a collage commemorating the Greene County courthouse 100th anniversary. The winning photograph will grace the cover of the Jefferson Telecom 2018-2019 telephone directory. Deluhery won $100 in Greene County Chamber Checks. A Service of Remembrance was held Aug. 18 at Gospel Open Bible Church in Jefferson for David Leroy Vickers, 69, of Jefferson Pastor Chad Cummings offered words of comfort. Honorary bearers were Tony Vickers, Jeff Vickers, Ronnie Vickers, J.J. Vickers and Jacob Vickers. Interment was at Junction Township Cemetery west of Grand Junction.
