Scranton city clerk Hinners resigns

Scranton city officials are looking for a new city clerk following the resignation of Melinda Hinners. Her resignation was accepted at a special council meeting June 25. Hinners’ resignation was effective July 6. She has agreed to work part-time until a replacement is hired and trained.
