Mary Louise Hilsenbeck Thede was born October 18, 1948, in Jefferson, Iowa, the daughter of Charles Hilsenbeck and Gertrude Mehman Hilsenbeck. She died with her family by her side on May 21, 2018, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines at the age of 69 years.
