Temporary cat shelter moved to Jefferson
The Jefferson city crew late last week brought to Jefferson a temporary feline “apartment complex” and placed it adjacent to the current animal shelter. The unit was donated by John McCormick of Churdan. He obtained it a few years ago after an animal rescue operation near Churdan.

The Greene County Singers invite the public to a concert, “Ask Us to Sing”, Sunday, April 29, at 2 pm at the First United Methodist Church in Jefferson. The choir will sing a variety of music in different styles. The Singers will serve tea and desserts following the concert. A free will donation will be appreciated.
