To the editor,
The decision whether to build a new school and a career academy is a big one. The opportunities of doing so are equally big. A “yes” vote could give Greene County a good shot at a prosperous future.
Rural towns across Iowa have been in decline for years. I think a career academy and the probability of Pillar Technology coming to Jefferson could be the start of reversing that trend. It has to start somewhere, why not in Greene County?
