In Greene County district court persons pleaded not guilty during the week ending March 8 as follows: Shane Christopher Jewett, 42, of Paton, domestic abuse assault impeding blood/ air flow; Courtney Lynn Morlan, 18, of Jefferson, unauthorized use of credit card less than $1,000; and Rodney James Blackman, 22, of Grand Junction, possession of marijuana- second offense. Trial dates were set for May 8 in every case.
Information is available since the return of an arrest warrant that John Edward Walker, 66, of Guthrie Center has been charged with operating while intoxicated- first offense and possession of marijuana- first offense. The warrant was issued Feb. 5 and returned March 7.
Cases were initiated in district court as follows; Allyn James Case, 30, of Jefferson, OWI- first offense and child endangerment; and Renae Jane Baugh, 36, of Jefferson, OWI- first offense.
