LifeServe Blood Center will hold a community blood drive Tuesday, March 13, from 12:30 to 5:30 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, 801 W. Lincoln Way, in Jefferson.
LifeServe reminds the public that when a blood donor makes a lifesaving donation, he or she receives more than the immediate gratification of saving three lives. Blood donors also earn points for each unit of blood donated. The points can be redeemed at LifeServe’s online store for items like T-shirts, hats, blankets and hoodies. Points can be donated back to LiveServe’s scholarship program.
