Jefferson Matters: Main Street held its annual volunteer appreciation party on Wednesday to thank the 50+ volunteers who are regularly involved in the program.

Aegerter is a member of the Tower View Team who works tirelessly to help the TVT’s mission of bringing public art to the downtown through rooftop art, Ring Out for Art sculptures, painted pianos, alley projects. He also as one of the chair people of the HomeTown Teams Smithsonian exhibit that will be housed at the Greene County Historical Society for six weeks starting Aug. 11. Aegerter is quick to give an enthusiastic yes to anything that needs to be done and Main Street appreciates it.

The Greene County High School cheerleaders welcomed all with a spirit tunnel and led three cheers for the group before the recognition. The event was held at Meythaler Photography on the downtown square. Refreshments were provided by the organization committee with a tailgate theme.
