Jean Borgeson joined other relatives and friends for the open house celebrating the 85th birthday of Florence Sigenthaler of Jefferson. The event was held at the Open Bible Church on Feb. 3 and was hosted by her daughters Roxane, Pam, Annette, and her youngest sister Debbie and her husband Buddy and their three sons, Chad, Chris and Josh and their families. Pam came from Texas for a few days with her mother, and Annette was unable to attend, but was able to congratulate via Skype. First cousins of Florence, Tom Snow, son of Agne (Anderson) Snow and Curtis Anderson, son of Albert Anderson, also attended and it was good to visit with them, as it had been several years since the last Anderson gathering. Florence and Debbie, daughters of Jim Anderson. The late Ralph Borgeson, was son of Ruth (Anderson) Borgeson. The parents of the Anderson siblings were Carl and Anna Anderson who farmed in the Farlin area from 1907 until Carl’s death in 1944. It was a great day for visiting and reminiscing. Florence stated proudly, “I’m still the oldest!”
