A week of free movies at the Sierra Community Theatre starts Wednesday, Feb. 7, and continues through Thursday, Feb. 15.
Classics Week kicks off with the 1957 winner of seven Academy Awards, “Bridge on the River Kwai”. Show times are 2 and 7 pm Wednesday and 7 pm Thursday, Feb. 8.
Musical lovers will be tempted to sing along with the 1965 film “The Sound of Music” featuring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer. Show times are Friday at 7 pm and Saturday at 2 and 7 pm.
The animated favorite, Charlotte’s Web, released in 2006, will be shown Sunday, Feb. 11, at 2, 4:30 and 7 pm.
The classic western “Cool Hand Luke” with Paul Newman will be on the screen Monday, Feb. 12 at 7 pm and Feb. 13 at 2 and 7 pm.
And for Valentine’s Day, the 1970 romance, “Love Story”, will wrap up the week with shows on Valentine’s Day at 2 and 7 pm and on Thursday, Feb. 15, at 7 pm.
Admission is free during Classics Week. Donations will be accepted and concessions will be available.
