A soup supper fundraiser hosted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliary, and the American Legion is slated for Saturday, Feb. 3, at the VFW post on the east side the square in Jefferson.
The three veterans groups will serve chili, chicken noodle soup, rolls and desserts from 5 to 7 pm. Free will donations will be accepted.
Proceeds will be divided among the three veteran groups, with most of the funds to benefit the current operating expenses and future community projects.
