Rain, snow, and below normal temperatures prevented planting across most of Iowa late in the week ending April 30, according to the USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service. Rams’ Elijah Block all-conference at HOIAC golf meet

The Greene County boys varsity golf team placed sixth in the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference meet at the Tournament Club of Iowa in Polk City Tuesday. It looks like the cold rainy weather is breaking just in time for the weekend when state park campgrounds will celebrate Camping Kickoff, Saturday, May 6.
