The Paton-Churdan athletic teams made a clean sweep in academics this year, according to activities director Chris Petersen. Every Rocket athletic team – cross country, volleyball, boys basketball and girls basketball – achieved the Distinguished Academic award from the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union and the Iowa High School Athletic Association.
