Registration deadline Dec. 1
The ISU Insect Zoo is coming to Greene County.This fun, free activity for kindergarten through 4th graders will be Wednesday, Dec. 6, from 2:30 to 3:30 pm at the Extension office in Jefferson. Class size is limited to 30 and registration is required by Dec. 1.
Youngsters will get up-close and personal with the exciting world of insects and arthropods. The Insect Zoo’s program brings hands-on experience with the basics of arthropod (insects, spiders, tarantulas, millipedes, centipedes, scorpions, etc.) form and function. Participants will learn about metamorphosis, importance, behavior and defenses.
