Flu shot clinics at parent/teacher conference
Public health nurses will be at parent-teacher conferences again this week offering community flu shot clinics. Staff will be at Paton-Churdan and at Greene County elementary Tuesday, Nov. 7, from 4 to 7:30 pm. They’ll return to Greene County elementary Thursday, also from 4 to 7:30 pm.

The American Kennel Club good citizen test will be offered Saturday, Nov. 18, from 3 to 5 pm at the Greene County Community Center in Jefferson. Passing the good citizen test is a prerequisite for therapy dogs. According to Linn Price, LVT, “good citizen” is a fun title to have and shows that dogs have basic obedience skills.
