A trio of Ram senior volleyball players were named to the Heart of Iowa all-conference volleyball team. Megan Durbin was named to the first team. She led the team in kills with 301 and served at 89.2 percent for the season.
Samantha Hardaway and Chantel Flack received honorable mention in the HOIAC. Hardaway had 111 kills and served at 91 percent. Flack led the team in serving at 97.1 percent on the season.
All three athletes had 86 sets.
Coach Donna Carhill gave team awards as follows: best setter, junior Aubrey Heupel; best server, Hardaway; best digger, Flack; and most kills, Durbin. Hardaway received the Ram Spirit award.
Earning varsity letters were freshman Lillian Muir; sophomores Sophia Havens, Harleigh Weir and Aubrey Heupel; and seniors Ashley Millard, Flack, Hardaway and Durbin.
The Rams finished the 2017 season at 22-64 in games and 7-27 in matches.
