Grace Geisler and Jake Berns were crowned as Paton-Churdan homecoming queen and king at a coronation on Sunday.
Themed dress-up days are continuing this week as both P-C and Greene County celebrate their homecomings.
Students from both schools will share many activities. The Greene County cheerleaders will hold a jersey auction Wednesday at 6:30 pm at the Greene County fairgrounds, with a bonfire following the auction.
The homecoming parade is slated for Friday at 2 pm. The parade will line up at the high school at 1 pm. The parade route is north on Chestnut St to State St, and then around the courthouse square.
The Greene County homecoming king and queen will be crowned on the south side of the courthouse after the parade.
The Greene County Rams will host the Boone Toreadors in the homecoming football game, with the varsity kickoff at 7:30. The pre-game ceremonies will include an honor guard composed of veterans and emergency responders from the entire county.
High school students are invited to a parking lot party in the student parking lot at the school following the game until 11:45 pm.
