Greene County public health is offering a “drive-thru” flu shot clinic on Tuesday, Sept. 26, from 5 to 7 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, 801 W. Lincoln Way, Jefferson. This convenient clinic format means folks who need a flu shot can get one – without leaving their car.
“You can drive thru on your way to or from work, school or shopping,” said Laine Custer, public health RN. “This is helpful for those who have trouble getting in and out of a car or have trouble walking a distance – we’ll bring the shot to your car door.”
Flu shots are billable to Medicare, Medicaid, Title 19, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and other private insurance. Cost is $35 per injection.
