The Greene County Medical Center auxiliary has a pair of fundraisers in the coming week. Proceeds from both events will go toward the medical center’s purchase of 3D mammography equipment.
Collective Goods, formerly Books Are Fun, will hold a “flash sale” Thursday, Sept. 14, from 10 am to 4 pm, and Friday, Sept. 15, from 7 am to 2:30 pm, in the main lobby at the medical center.
Collective Goods sells books, toys, greeting cards, gifts and more. Credit/debit cards will be accepted for payment, as well as cash or checks.
The auxiliary will hold its annual salad luncheon Tuesday, Sept. 19, from 11 am to 1 pm at Clover Hall at the Greene County Fairgrounds.
Tickets are $6 and are available from any auxiliary member or in the Gift Garden at the medical center. Carry-outs will be available.
A wide variety of salads will be served, and raffles of donated items will also be conducted.
