Putting up one hog confinement building with a capacity that doesn’t require a review by the county supervisors and then “expanding” the “existing” facility has become fairly routine.
The county supervisors will review a master matrix for an expansion of a facility on G Ave south of 250th St in Section 24 of Scranton Township next Monday. Luke Skalla put up the first building there less than a year ago.
A public hearing on the construction permit is slated for the board’s meeting Monday, Aug. 14, at 9 am.
