Jefferson police officers wrote 12 citations and issued 79 warnings during a special Traffic Enforcement Project (sTEP) July 1-4. Citations were issued as follows: driving while license suspended or revoked, three; speed, three; seat belt, two; registration, two; .02 alcohol violation, one; and other traffic violation, one.
