The Churdan fire department and the Churdan public library are teaming up to host Churdan Day Saturday, June 17, as a fundraiser in conjunction with the Paton-Churdan all-school reunion.
All events will be based at the Churdan city park with the exception of the library open house and the beer garden/DJ.
The schedule is:
- 7:30 am – Bacon 5 Kegs (5k run/walk)
- 8 am – Churdan Lions Club serving breakfast until 10 am
- 8 am – Car show until 11 am; cars will be judged during the parade
- 9 am – 3 on 3 basketball tournament. 9 am – Various vendors in the park until 4 pm
- 11 am – Parade
- 12 pm – Lunch served by the Churdan fire department and Churdan library. There will also be inflatables (Bungee Run, Obstacle Course, Bouncy House) and a pedal tractor pull from 12pm-4pm
- 12 pm – Town and Country Band performs in the gazebo
- 12:30 pm – Library open house until 4pm
- 1 pm – Mud volleyball
- 5 pm – Paton-Churdan all-school reunion at the school
- 7 pm – Beer garden opens (In front of the fire house)
- 8 pm– DJ Al Lohr at the beer garden (Al Lohr will be the DJ) until 12 am
Trophies will be awarded for all activities
