A Memorial Service of Remembrance was held June 11 at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home in Jefferson for Alan Lee Eggers, 70, of Jefferson. Pastor Sheldon Henderson of Central Christian Church in Jefferson offered words of comfort. Larry Dowd was soloist. Military rites were provided by Floyd Brown Post 11 of the American Legion and V.F.W. Post 9599.
