Persons who want to learn to create beautiful summer arrangements from flowers in their garden can learn how at an upcoming Extension workshop.
At DIY Garden Vase on Thursday, June 15, Bonnie Silbaugh of Fudge’s Flowers will demonstrate how to create a display that’s “uniquely you”.
The workshop is from 6 to 7:30 pm at Fudge’s Flowers, 120 E. State in Jefferson. Participants should bring their own vase or other container, flowers from their garden, and greenery for a fun learning event. Silbaugh encourages participants to be creative with their greenery choices – hosta leaves, boxwood, and many other garden plants make great fillers. Those who don’t have garden blooms can purchase everything they need by the stem from Fudge’s that evening.
Cost is $10 and the workshop is limited to 10 participants. Anything purchased that evening is in addition to the workshop fee of $10. The registration deadline is June 12.
