Jefferson Matters: Main Street invites the public to attend the Java & Juice in Jefferson’s Main Street district every Friday from 9:30 to 10 am.
Locations in May are:
- May 5 – Edward Jones, 110 S. Wilson
- May 12 – Jefferson Telecom, 105 W. Harrison St
- May 19 – Farmers Mutual/Complete Insurance, 108 N. Vine St
- May 26 – Mahanay Memorial Carillon Tower
There is a time for short announcements of other events going on in the community. The host business provides java, juice, and a treat for those attending. At 9:45, the business owner can introduce staff, share info about services provided or a background of the business. It is a time for celebrating an anniversary or an accomplishment. These events end at 10 a.m. so is perfect for a coffee break on Fridays. Many businesses are starting to send a representative or two to these events and share back to their staff.
