Spring clean-up is slated for April 24-28 in Jefferson. Pick up will be done in each neighborhood on the regular garbage day. Materials must be separated: metal with metal, wood with wood, garbage with garbage, yard waste, etc. If items are not sorted, they will not be picked up.

The Greene County FFA Chapter is holding its annual plant sale Monday, May 1, and Tuesday, May 2, from 8:30 to 3 pm. The plant sale will be located on the north side of Greene County High School. A variety of plants annuals, perennials, herbs, and vegetables will be available.

‘Matter of Balance’ starts May 1 at The Gardens

The Gardens in Jefferson  will host “A Matter of Balance” with instructors from Greene County Medical Center public health. The public is welcome. The class is for anyone who is concerned about falls, is interested in improving their balance, flexibility and strength, has fallen in the past, or who has restricted activities because of concerns about falling.
