Spring clean-up is slated for April 24-28 in Jefferson. Pick up will be done in each neighborhood on the regular garbage day. Materials must be separated: metal with metal, wood with wood, garbage with garbage, yard waste, etc. If items are not sorted, they will not be picked up.

Relay for Life well-attended
More than 350 people attended the Relay for Life of Greene County Saturday, celebrating all who are surviving cancer, remembering those who died of cancer, and raising funds to fight back against cancer. The class is for anyone who is concerned about falls, is interested in improving their balance, flexibility and strength, has fallen in the past, or who has restricted activities because of concerns about falling.
