Friends of the Jefferson Public Library will hold the annual spring book sale Thursday, through Saturday, April 27-29. There is no admission charge to attend the sale.
The spring book sale is an opportunity to stock up on reading wants and needs. All genres of books are sold, including large print, mysteries, romance, cookbooks, gardening, history, inspirational fiction and non-fiction, and children’s books. Parents and grandparents are encouraged to be prepared this summer by including affordable reading materials in their home.
Other items include DVDs, music and book CD’s, jigsaw puzzles, games, and puppets. Our spring sale includes a large inventory of vintage books, teacher educational resources (primarily elementary), and inspirational. The fundraiser takes place during regular library hours in the basement of the public library.
“The Friends of the Jefferson Public Library hosts this annual used book sale as a major fundraiser for our community library. Through your purchases, you enable our library to offer more resources for everyone to use and enjoy,” a spokesperson said.
