The Greene County girls track team placed third on Tuesday, April 11, at the Carroll Coed Invitational. Carroll took first place, scoring 152 points, followed by IKM-Manning with 111. Greene County tallied 100 points in their third place effort.
The sprint medley team won first place; the information provided to this newspaper did not include individual names. Their winning time was 1:59.63. Also taking first were the 4×200 relay and the 4×100 relay.
Haley Hall earned a gold medal in the 3000-meter race, posting a time of 12:22.25. Other gold medals went to Megan Durbin running 28.01 in the 200-meters and 5’ 3” in the high jump. Janelle Brophy leaped 15’ 4.75” to take first in the long jump and Kenna Marquardt was first in the discus with a throw of 101’ 4”.
