The design committee of Jefferson Matters: Main Street is offering a free presentation on Window Design Hints & Tips on Monday, April 10. All interested in learning about creative ways to catch shopper’s attention with window displays are invited to attend.
Two Main Street Iowa staff members who travel throughout Iowa and attend many national workshops will share their hints and tips in a PowerPoint presentation and discussion. Terry Poe Buschkamp has extensive promotion experience as a former Main Street director in Waterloo. Maia Fiala Jessen is a design consultant with the Main Street program and will share her design experience.
This Window Designs Hints & Tips presentation will start at 5:15 pm with a social time at the Jefferson Elks lodge. The design committee is offering a free drink coupon for all those who attend along with some snacks. The design presentation will begin at 5:45 pm and will last one hour.
With spring in the air, the committee wants to help merchants with fresh ideas for enticing shoppers into their businesses. All interested are invited to attend with no RSVP required.
