“Fates and Traitors” by Jennifer Chiaverini has been selected for the Greene County Reads book discussions next month. This piece of historical fiction tells the story of John Wilkes Booth and the four women whom he loved and who loved him in return. The book is 382 pages in hard cover. Extra copies will be available at local libraries.

Scranton visioning program focus groups to meet March 25
Scranton is participating in the 2017 Iowa’s Living Roadways Community Visioning program. Community Visioning is a transportation enhancement planning process that serves Iowa communities with a population of 10,000 or fewer residents. An important meeting is scheduled on Saturday, March 25, with Scranton area residents invited to take part.

There is a screening component to PK registration that will take place May 25-26.
