National Library Week will take off from the Churdan public library with a free program by pilot Ryan Stott Monday, April 10, at 7 pm at the library. This year’s National Library Week theme is “Come Fly with Us!”
Stott will take about his time as an F-16 pilot in the U.S. Air Force and his time with the Iowa Air National Guard. He will also tell of his bombing missions against the Taliban in Afghanistan.
Stott now flies with the South Dakota National Guard based in Sioux Falls and operating his own aerial application company, Stott’s Aerial Spraying Services. The 2017 crop season will be his fifth flying applicator planes.
All are welcome to attend the program. Refreshments will be served.
