This February, Tower View Team of Jefferson Matters: Main Street will create a Sweetheart Tree on the grounds of the Greene County courthouse. The tree will be decorated with doily snowflakes and hearts on it.
To include the community, the Tower View Team asks people to answer to one of the following questions: Who do you love in Jefferson? Why do you love Jefferson? What do you love in Jefferson?
The answers should be written on paper hearts available at Greene Bean Coffee, the Jefferson public library, Homestead Coffee and Bakery and Bunker’s Dunkers, the put in Valentine bags there. That can be done Jan. 30 through Feb. 14.
The Tower View Team will then gather up the hearts and create a lovin’ art display in one of the store windows in the district sharing all that love with the community for the rest of February.
“Answer the question, visit the Sweetheart Tree and take a selfie and share it on our Facebook page. Just join in the fun of sharing your love this February in our Main Street district,” a Tower View Team spokesperson said.
