Work on a small drainage project on County Road P-33 (“the Spring Lake Road”) just north of Highway 30 will be completed before crops are planted in the spring.
The county supervisors, serving as trustees of Drainage District 2, on Monday accepted the low bid of $29,899 from LeRoy and Sons of Arcadia to clean out the open ditch there. Justin Hagen of Bolton & Menk told the supervisors he received five bids for the project. The pre-bid estimate was $29,000.
LeRoy and Sons has previously worked in DD108 and DD33.
