Predictions are for a good season for Iowa hunters who use bows. The archery deer hunting season opened Oct. 1. “Hunters should have another great year,” said Andrew Norton, state deer biologist for the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. “Our deer population is relatively stable, keeping things consistent.
