High school students practice building trades

While some Greene County High School students are building a house their classmates are also building, but with much different materials. Students in their advisory groups practiced collaboration in building with edible materials during the week prior to their Christmas break. The creations were on display in the school media center. Rockets lose two to CR-B

Holiday closings told

Greene County courthouse offices and the clerk of court office will be closed Friday, Dec. 23, and Monday, Dec. 26 for the Christmas holiday. Offices will also be closed Monday, Jan. 2 as the county observance of New Year’s Day. The county supervisors will hold their organizational meeting Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 8:30 am.
