Teachers holding fundraiser at Thursday hoops
The Greene County Education Association is hosting a potato bar supper and bake sale Thursday, Dec. 22, from 5 to 7 pm at the middle school as the Ram basketball teams play the Toreadors of Boone. The teachers are raising money to support the scholarships they award to graduating high school seniors in the spring.

Jefferson city crews took advantage of cold weather last week to prepare the ice rink at Chautauqua Park. As of Friday, the ice was smooth and the lights were ready for evening skating. There is no charge for skating. The ice rink was donated several years ago by Jefferson Telecom.
