The Jefferson park and recreation department is once again holding its holiday food drive to benefit the Greene County Christian Action Resource Center food pantry. Legion tells winners in fifth grade essay contest
American Legion Post 11 held a brief assembly at Greene County Intermediate School Dec. 22 to announce that Eli Mohr is the first place winner in this year’s essay contest for fifth graders. He received $30 and his essay will be forwarded to district level competition. Cody Stephenson was second and received $20. Kaylee Stalder was third and received $10.
