School nets $1,000 for new books in ‘Read with Me!’ program

Students at Greene County Elementary will have new books to read thanks to a donation of $1,000 from “Read with Me!”, a collaboration of KCCI-TV and EMC Insurance.

Along with the check came a dozen or so T-shirts in various sizes to use as incentives or at the school staff’s discretion.
