Although area residents grumbled about the colder weather being a sure sign that winter is coming, the low temperatures reported this week were several degrees warmer than usual for the first days in December, according to KCCI’s SchoolNet 8. The temperature did not fall below freezing during the week that ended Dec. 2.
High temperature was an unseasonably warm 59 degrees on Monday. The low temperature was 34 degrees on Sunday.
