A donation of $200 was recently made to the Early Learning Center by Beta Sigma Phi. Shirley Stapleton (pictured, right) made the presentation on behalf of the organization to Cherie Cerveny (pictured, left), executive director of the ELC.
The contribution will be used for either infant equipment and supplies or for scholarships.
The Early Learning Center is currently caring for eight infants, but will double that number after the first of the year to 16.
Beta Sigma Phi, a Greene County women’s organization, has been supporting various community needs for many, many years.
